The PRO-MAIL^® Fulfillment Solution: New Manufacture on Demand Capabilities

Rocky Hill, CT – August 8th, 2006 - Software Marketing Associates, Inc. announces the availability of new Manufacture on Demand capabilities for The PRO-MAIL^® Fulfillment Solution. 

This powerful new set of capabilities will allow PRO-MAIL^® licensees to manage the process of capturing and fulfilling orders for items that are to be produced on-demand, and which may require customization. Examples of such items might include sales collateral and product literature, but could also include non-print items, such as articles of clothing requiring monogramming.

According to SMA’s President, Denise Lunden, “We are seeing an increase in the number of orders that call for the manufacturing and fulfillment of personalized products along with static products. The challenge is to incorporate the manufacturing process with the traditional pick-n-pack workflow.  The new PRO-MAIL^® Manufacture on Demand abilities help to assure picking accuracy while maintaining efficiencies in the warehouse”.    

Digital printing has made the concept of “One to One Marketing” a reality. To this end, the PRO-MAIL^® Fulfillment Solution can be integrated with a number of leading third party web-to-print solutions to facilitate ordering of both stock items and customized print-on-demand items through a PRO-MAIL^® shopping cart.
