PRO-MAIL^® Business Management Solution, Version 5.3E3 Coming Soon

Software Marketing Associates, Inc. (SMA) has begun work on the next release of the PRO-MAIL^® Business Management Solution (BMS), Version 5.3E3. It will include many new features and enhancements, several of which have been requested by its licensees. Two key additions will be Postal Forms and Accounts Payable (A/P).

The decision to incorporate postal forms into the BMS stems from PRO-MAIL^® licensee’s recent requests. Postal forms for first class and standard class mail will generate directly through the BMS using an add-on capability.

Since many licensees of the BMS are increasingly purchasing materials on behalf of their clients, A/P is also being added to the BMS. SMA will continue to provide interfaces to third party A/P and general ledger (G/L) systems such as QuickBooks, Microsoft’s Great Plains, and others, for licensees who prefer to use them.

Denise Lunden, SMA’s president notes that, in addition, postal forms that are now generated through Version 4 WILL be updated according to the rate change anticipated in January 2006.

The BMS, Version 5.3E3 beta release will be available this fall for companies who would like to use the new functionality in advance of the production release. It is anticipated that the production version will be available in January 2006.
